Shaar Hagilgulim in English!!!

Shaar Hagilgulim - Rabbi Isaac Luria & Rabbi Chaim Vital !!!

The Gate of Reincarnation in English, translated by Rabbi Pinchas Winston. Limited Quantity in print! Two Volumes!

Shaar HaGilgulim (The Gate of Reincarnation) records the fundamentals of spiritual development and the journeys of the soul. Based on the writings of the master Kabbalist, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria - Arizal (1534-1572). The book was recorded by his foremost disciple, Rabbi Chaim Vital, and amended by Rabbi Shmuel Vital, his son.

Shaar HaGilgulim explains how various Biblical personalities lived, died, and were reborn as different individuals. It links reincarnation to the concept of rectification (tikun) on both the personal and world levels. The mystic's view of reward and punishment, the Garden of Eden, the Messiah, and many other Jewish concepts is presented.

Written in a highly technical and esoteric style, this classic text of Jewish mysticism can be somewhat provocative. The English version was prepared by a group of scholars in Safed, Israel, from a translation by Rabbi Pinchas Winston.

Threshold of Tisha B'Av

As we stand on the threshold of Tisha B'Av of this year 5775 (Heh Tav Shin Ayin Heh, H'ayo T'ihyeh Sh'nat Aliyat HaDaat, "It shall surely be a year of the ascent of Daat, Understanding), let us keep in mind that with every passing year we are nearer to the restoration of HaShem's Temple, and rather than mourning over the past and moaning over the present, let us turn the KINOT lamentations of Tisha B'Av into TIKUN, repair, by focussing already on trying to live AS IF Mashiach is already here (which he is) by serving HaShem every day and every moment as the Tzaddikim have taught us with Emunah Faith, with prayer, with love of our fellows and practicing kindness.

When Tisha B'Av falls on Shabbat, as is the case this year, we may eat and enjoy the Shabbat foods and have a foretaste of the fulfillment of Zechariah's prophecy that "the Fast of the Fifth..." will be turned into a festival of rejoicing and happiness.

The Tzaddikim have taught us that on this Shabbat every Jew is given a dream or vision of the Future Temple.

May we have the merit to see this Temple in our days!

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!!! Happy Festival!!!

Who makes you successful?

Every step, stratagem and undertaking must be prefaced with a prayer to Hashem for success. “Our soul hopes to Hashem; He is our help and our shield” (Tehillim 33:20).

Despite our energetic efforts, we look solely to him to prosper our plans of success (He is our help) and to prosper our precautions against misfortune (He is our shield). — Career of Happiness

by Rabbi Avigdor Miller.
