Joy

It is a great mitzvah to be happy always!

Make every effort to maintain a happy, positive outlook at all times. It is a natural human tendency to become discouraged and depressed because of the hardships of life: everyone has their full share of suffering. That is why you must force yourself to be happy at all times. Use every possible way to bring yourself to joy, even by joking or acting a little crazy!

G-d, the Master and the Disciple - Star Wars series part 1

It is no secret that I am a fan of the Star Wars series and in this time of Teshuvah, I would like to share my story [2007-2020] in Judaism using as background the topics of Star Wars and my studies of the Holy Scriptures, the experiences. I respect the Free Will of each person, so my role here is to comment on my life, I am just a student who seeks to approach HaShem and be a better person, not being a teacher, I apologize for any mistakes. I am grateful to tell you as a means of thanks and help to more people, G-d willing, may it is for the benefit of those who are looking to approach the Master of the World. In the words of the sages: Ben Zoma said “Who is wise? - One who learns from each man" - 'From all my teachers I became wise, because Your testimony is my meditation' - Ethics of Fathers 4:1

As everyone knows, whoever was far from G-d, the first step is to be humble and seek help from an expert, true master, here I used the image of Master Yoda to illustrate and represent Rabbis that I am learning from them. With all due respect!

This post is on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and in PDF format to be shared, feel free to ask in the email journalmitzvah@gmail.com

PDF format

The series will have 10 chapters, as there is interference and distractions from both the secular world and the yetzer hara to try to delay the coming of Machiach and our personal evolution and rectification, I hope that together we can work on this and make this year a new beginning in complete righteousness.

Believing in One Almighty G-d

We are all “created in the image of G-d”.

Trust the Inner Force!

“Created in the image of G-d” is an ever-present reality, when you are alone, do not feel, we are in His presence. "I always have the L-rd before me" (Psalm 18:8) - And more fulfilled in reciting daily "Shema Yisrael, HaShem Elokeinu, HaShem Echad". It is a state [Emet] of realizing who we are and Who we serve, Whom we love and fear. We have to keep connected even when we go to work and do other matters, this practice seems simple, even when a big problem appears, stay quiet.

When your faith is so strong, you realize that G-d is everywhere and with you at all times, in this moment of perception and submission, your reaction begins to be different from that before, you don't need to understand everything that is happening, just feel your inner strength "Your G-d".

This life force can be diminished by evildoers, that's why when people with bad intentions come in contact with us, we feel a decrease in our body and mental energy, it seems that we are tired, without focus, the effects of sadness appear, what to do? The advice of the wise warns us:

"Turn away from evil and do good, seek and pursue peace." Psalm 34:15

"It is a great mitzvah to be Happy always" Rebbe Nachman, Likutey Moharan.

The resistance against the evil empire continues, they will try to invade again, again. You need to use your inner strength.

Bad people have the intention to make a mistake, we cannot forget our heritage, we are special, created in the image of G-d, and being happy is our faithful acceptance with the Creator, everything is in His control, and everything that He does it for the better, Rabbi Nachman of Breslev tells us 'It is a mitzvah to be happy always' is a statement in practice of our trust, faith, total fidelity in G-d.

Sometimes when affected, to charge our batteries, so to speak, it is Torah and Prayers, the only source. All entertainment (travel, shopping, internet, movies, etc.) has little or no help after a while. When the person is well connected with G-d, a trip can do well him / her a lot, for example. In situations of low esteem, decreased Divine service, Rabbi Nachman of Breslev says that we must force ourselves to study Torah.

When a place or someone causes you negative feelings, move away from that person without offending him or her. Remember Psalm 34:15 please.

When learning with a teacher, master, rabbi you should take into account the time to learn, nobody starts at the University, someone practicing martial arts doesn't jump from the white belt to the black belt, plants and fruit trees take months or years to grow and give fruits. To reach a higher level, to break the shells, to be a better human being, it requires years of study, and as taught by the Rabbis, it is not just the study itself, the person needs to grow in upright behaviors, acts of kindness, which is taught must make present in the life of each one, that is the noteworthy change that we must aim for. A very sick patient needs to accept that his condition of recovery needs long-term care, be patient and have faith.

Through the years there will be greater self-control, knowledge, successes but there are ups and downs during the study of Torah, do not lose hope, better to have a good dose of patience, discipline, strategies, attention / focus, greater confidence in yourself, stay in contact your master, write to him, do tzedakah as thanks and keep your study and prayers at your own pace, everyone has their own spiritual level and personal tikkun, there will be help from Heaven, there will be obstacles and difficulties, there will be opportunities, there will be evildoers , there will always be someone wanting to help you.

The steps are many, make this your priority, one step at a time, although we can all understand this, in practice we want results in a few months, but our lives for everything we do will take time. The more Emunah, Torah study, Mitzvot, acts of kindness and Teshuvah, the better.

We are together to spread Peace, Love, Wisdom around the world - the strength is with us!

"May the force be with you"

Shalom!

To reach higher levels

We need to introduce things into our lives that will help us to reach higher levels: learn mussar every day, embrace Tochocha, get a new Rav or role model, and know that MY medragas and suffering make a difference in the world-----Rabbi E. Wachsman

A Legacy of Torah - "Insights on the Weekly Parasha by Sephardic Hachamim"

Dear Friends,

Sephardic Legacy Series is at the final stages of completing after nearly four years of unprecedented hard work "A Legacy of Torah" - "Insights on the Weekly Parasha by Sephardic Hachamim" authored by my colleague, Rabbi Shai Cabessa. We are going to print next month G-d willing, and there is 8/54 Parashiot/portions remaining. The Book release date is September 2020 in time for the Jewish Holidays.

This ambitious undertaking was borne out of the realization that much of contemporary Sephardic Torah literature has not ever been published in English. This is a great opportunity to share Sephardic Rabbinical Torah scholarship on the Shabbat table from their rich words of Torah inspiration. This publication marks a very significant and crucial milestone as a focus on the scholarship of many great Sephardic Rabbis throughout the centuries. It is time to disseminate their great words of Torah!

Sponsorship dedication opportunities are available:

Full Parasha dedication $720.00

Half Parasha dedication $360.00

The Parashiot can be dedicated in honour or in memory of any loved one and submitted prior to each Parasha/content.

All proceeds and profits of sales of the book will go directly to cover expenses incurred by the Sephardic Legacy Series and the institute over the course of producing the book "A Legacy of Torah.”

All donations are tax-deductible. Please see dedication opportunities mentioned below.

Please contact me personally for further information concerning dedications at yazoulay@sephardiclegacy.com.

Sincerely,

Yehuda Azoulay

WE NEED TO BE CONNECTED WITH THE TRUTH EMET FROM HEAVEN - THE OBSTACLES AND OPPOSITION

WE NEED TO BE CONNECTED WITH THE TRUTH EMET FROM HEAVEN

THE OBSTACLES AND OPPOSITION THAT ONE FACES WHEN TRYING TO DO SOMETHING HOLY ARE NOT NECESSARILY A SIGN THAT YOU SHOULD BACK OFF. BY REB MEIR ELKABAS.

Book of Psalms (Tehillim) we can learn we are not alone, HaShem is supporting us in His Hidden High Place, agents of G-d in our low place always help us getting out of troubles; breaking the shells, opening our eyes from the deception of the yetzer hara. Yet, when we are beginning felt these attacks of evil, try to be Happy is a good thing to remember God's Kindness, and find inner force to read holy books, looking/asking for help (Rabbis, friends), some people don't asking for help, it is vital hear what loving people have to say about you. We are not alone, there are good people and above a loving God. Be Happy, Be Kind! Shalom, By Gilson Sasson. Thank G-d!

Man was created with a Good Urge (yetzer ha-tov), an Evil Urge (yetzer ha-ra) and free will.

This then allows the human race to include SOME INDIVIDUALS who are GOOD as well as others who are EVIL.

The Evil ones must be cast aside.

By Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto – The Way of God – Feldheim Publishers.

10 BAD QUALITIES DISTINCTIVE TO WICKED (RASHA)

1 – Evil

2 – False

3 – Egotist

4 – Vindictive

5 - Jealous

6 – Unrighteous

7 – Ruthless

8 – Coward

9 - Empty

10 – Transvestite wolf disguised as a good sheep [very dangerous]

After reading Ramchal teachings, I felt motivated to post this article in this moment of year, we need TO BE CONNECTED WITH THE TRUTH EMET FROM HEAVEN. Save good souls of s-tan. We are waiting for Moshiach now. TIME TO RIGHTEOUS ONES!

This is VERY NECESSARY to be in connection with a Tzaddik to control or on a more advanced level, be able to fight evil one. This is very difficult. BETTER ADVICE; Do Focus to do MORE good/sincere deeds, mitzvoth, prayers, tzedakah, Torah study. We must work and looking for the Good, investment to add more good things in our lifes, people, animals, planet in general. SEPARATE FROM THE BAD AND DO GOOD, SEEK THE GOOD! Gilson Sasson. Thank G-d!
